Placed in the picturesque village of Hellidon, Northamptonshire, The Red Lion is part of the Freespirit Pubs family. A beautiful village pub with six quirky letting rooms and a self catering cottage. With Daventry, Banbury and Rugby all within close proximity, this cosy country kitchen is perfectly situated if you want to relax and unwind.

Behind every great pub is a reliable manager at the helm and The Red Lion is no exception. Leading the team we have our wonderful duo, Jorge and Jane, both of whom are a familiar face to many of our Freespirit guests. This lovely couple started their Freespirit journey in 2015 at The Castle at Edgehill, before moving across to The Red Lion at Hellidon in 2019 to take the reins. Jorge is well known for his Portuguese charm and cracking sense of humour whilst Jane is known for her warm energy and winning smile. If you’re looking to enjoy some friendly hospitality – you won’t find much better than these two!
